India has decided to impose anti-dumping duties on Chinese solar fluorinated backboards

On June 15, The Revenue Bureau of the Ministry of Finance issued circular No. 22/2022-Customs(ADD) stating, Accepting the final anti-dumping finding of 29 March 2022 of the Ministry of Commerce and Industry of India on Solar Fluoro Backsheet excluding transparent Backsheet from Or imported from China, Decided to impose anti-dumping duties on the products involved for a period of five years.


Among them, 762 USD/mt for Jolywood (Suzhou) Sunwatt Co.,Ltd., and 908 USD/MT for other manufacturers. This measure is valid for 5 years. The case relates to products under Indian Customs codes 3920 and 3921. The above-mentioned award shall come into force as of the date of publication of this circular in the official Gazette.


On 30 March 2021, the Ministry of Commerce and Industry of India issued a notice to initiate an anti-dumping investigation against solar fluorinated backpanels originating or imported from China in response to an application filed by Renewsys IndiaPrivate Limited. On 29 March 2022, the Indian Ministry of Commerce and Industry issued a final affirmative anti-dumping ruling on solar fluorinated backpanels originating or imported from China.
